WHAT IS VETERINARY ASSURANCE?
You may have heard of the term ‘clinical governance’, which in the veterinary world means ‘a continuing process of reflection, analysis and improvement in professional practice for the benefit of the animal patient and the client owner’. Focussing on the combined efforts of the whole team to make changes will lead to better outcomes, better systems and better professional development and learning. Getting the right balance of strategy, risk and control is critical. Providing a central point of expertise is at the heart of our Veterinary Assurance support.

WHAT DOES VETERINARY ASSURANCE INCLUDE?
Our veterinary assurance services include being dedicated veterinary advisers and external assurers for public and private sector organisations. We support Police taskings and can deploy overseas on assurance visits and to deliver training. Our other services include:
- Operational Working Dog First Aid and Expedition Veterinary Medicine Training
- Annual ‘Fit for Duty’ certification, including vaccinations and anti-parasite medications (‘home’ delivery)
